So the voip application is completely independent of sim. If I set their voip account in my iphone without the sim inside the phone it will work on their voip under wifi.

of course incoming calls ring to the voip applicaion only if the simcard is inactive or out of coverage.
if sim card is active, incoming calls are routed via the normal gsm route
This is not strictly true, the incoming calls whether the Sim is active and in your handset or not, will always be routed to the cheapest incoming route, if your wi-fi is on it will be routed trough to you via your VoIP application, which is always free to receive no matter where you are roaming. Only when you turn off wi-fi will it be routed via your normal GSM.

no we are 100% correct, and the only way for you to test is to call your Sim number when you have Sim and wi-fi activated together, when you have answered your call check your account status, you will find that you have not been charged for the incoming call. Please make sure that you have a sound internet connection or it will revert to GSM incoming.

New great service from piranha!

OFF-LOAD CALLING

This service introduced by Piranha is the landline or mobile Call-Back (also known as Call Off-Load). The idea which prompted this feature is the fact that traditional Call-Back can be expensive in some countries where inter operator termination (IOT) costs apply, so instead of getting called back on the Piranha Sim, Piranha allows customers to be called back on a local landline or mobile. For example, a customer in India who would want to call Russia, is now able to request a Call-Back to their direct line at their hotel in India, Piranha then connects the call to the intended destination in Russia. The call is triggered using the users Piranha Sim, and is billed to the customer's mobile billing account.

Example:

a. Using Call Off-Load, calling from India to USA, landline or mobile, normal Call-Back call costs £0.56, making same call using Call Off-Load from landline or mobile costs £0.03.
b. Using Call Off-Load, calling from Pakistan to UK landline, normal Call-Back call costs £0.34, making same call using Call Off-Load from landline costs £0.05, from a mobile £0.07.

Call Off-Load Set-Up:

Making cheap calls using Call Off-Load:

Use your mobile to call as shown with the numbers *110* Call-BackDestinationNumber * DestinationNumber # Send.

a. Call-back Destination Number = number where the person initiating the call wants to be called.
b. Call Destination Number = number that the person initiating the call actually wants to call.
Once the landline or mobile rings at your destination, answer the call as normal, you will then be connected to the number you are calling.
