SIM for vacation in France and Spain -
10-04-2008, 23:49
I will be traveling in France and Spain this September. I have a dual band (900/1800) Samsung SGH-s500 I bought in Indonesia a few years ago, and wanted to know if I can buy a SIM that will work in both France and Spain. Am I better off buying from the US or waiting until I get to Paris?
Thanks. |

don't you like international sims like Travelsim or icq um+? Imho they are cheaper than local sims (above all if you travelling not only in 1 country)
My best sim?--> Wind +39-328 My phones: Samsung Galaxy Next S5570 |

I received my 2 T-Mobile UK Sim Cards today!!! -
27-04-2008, 05:10
Just like the heading says, I received them today! Popped them in my Motorola L6 and my daughter's Siemens M55 (both are unlocked) and the sim cards are ACTIVE!
I actually even received a text message from a promotional long distance company in the UK, more proof that the sim card is active. All I need to do now is top-up the cards when we arrive at Heathrow! THANKS to all who replied. Now I am able to give my UK cell phone # out to the shuttles I've arranged along our trip, as well as our relatives who we will be meeting up with. |

1. Dial the access number 07755 220 220 (and press send)
2. Dial the full international number followed by the # key Couldn't be easier....after dialing the number in bold above you will get an explanaton but no need to listen...important thing to call Canada, after dialing the 07755 number above, use the international code 00 followed by 1 followed by the area code followed by the number but most importantly do not press send, rather press # 001 514 555 1212# voila. |
