TIM or VodaPhone for Italian Lake Region -
03-05-2010, 19:34
Any suggestion on which prepaid SIM card will have better coverage in the Lake Como and Lake Garda areas? TIM coverage map looks better but as I arrive at Malpensa airport, I can pick up my Voda SIM card there. It is only for local calling. I will also be at the Central train statin in Milan on my way to the lakes, do they have a TIM counter there?

I doubt you need to worry about coverage in Italy, especially in those tourist areas, where every operator seeks to catch roaming customers for some extra profitable roaming revenue.

Exactly, don't worry: Tim and Vodafone are the similar in those regions. I live near Gardalake and I don't see the difference between these operators
