Are you saying that there are countries with prepaid tariffs that are billed in seconds?

Yes, plenty. Some make a minimum charge of one minute, but to charge in one minute increments after the first minute is a particularly unfair commercial practice.

Yes, it is open every day from 8am to 9pm. See Orange Center, Zürich-Flughafen - store locator - Orange Communications SA/AG

Orange Switzerland are charging a whopping CHF40 for nano-SIMs, including in Orange shops. This is confirmed by a moderator in Orange's own forums. This is a total rip-off.

You can buy SIM cutters quite inexpensively on eBay et al, e.g. iPhone 5 Sim Card Cutter Cut Convert Regular & Micro Sim to Nano Sim

They also come with adapters in case you want to use the cut SIM in a device that accepts previous sizes.

Phones: OnePlus 5 • Nexus 5
SIMs: CA Fido/Fongo • AT A1-B.free • Google Fi
R.I.P.: UM • UM+

Yes, I'm well aware of SIM cutters and I will buy a nano-SIM cutter soon, as they are falling in price on eBay, almost as cheap now as a micro-SIM cutter. However, I prefer to have a proper nano-SIM and I don't see any justification for charging more for one. I've been replacing most of my micro-SIMs with nano-SIMs, but Orange Switzerland is the only network charging anything for it.

I will be in Zurich Switzerland next week for a few days, and need a prepaid sim card with unlimited data while there. I saw Inquisitor's post listed the "Swisscom Natel Easy BeFree SIM", which seems like a good option for me. Can it be purchased at the ZRH Zurich airport?

Thanks in advance ...
