![]() Sure. Good to know. I'll be doing the same for my 3-UK sim as well, when it's time for me to head to the UK around August.

I was receiving textmessages in about a minute after it connected to AT&T. It also use T-Mobile. [One thing you will not want to do is call a USA number. GBP1.40 to do that. Calling UK number, texts to US and UK cheap. Read up on "Add-Ons" .] Order I did things. 1. Stuck SIM in phone. 2. Registered with MY3. 3. Paid GBP10 via https://www.mobiletopup.co.uk/ Service charge of 1.49 GBP. 4. Started testing. For everyone, here is a good link to start to familiarize yourself with this plan/offer. http://www.three.co.uk/Store/SIM/Pay_As_You_Go Since Three will not mail you a SIM, ebay is a good place to look for inexpensive Three SIMs. |

With all the turmoil of EU roaming starting June 15th, I was doing some research. I stumbled across another option in buying UK top-ups. They also ship SIM cards. They take PayPal and charge only 10% for top-ups. http://www.uksims.eu/ Quote:
You seem to be able to order two of the same SIM at a time. Quote:

![]() I was reading I think on Flyer Talk that you can't roam more than 60 days in a year without returning to the UK. Is that still true? @rfanzq On the T&C that you posted it stated that the sim had to be activated in the UK. Will activating it here in the US nullify the sim?

82 days since activation. I have not left California. I have sent a lot of SMS to UK and USA [& a few to a Philippine]SIMs. I have not used data. I think I made some calls to UK SIMs that I have. I think I might have made 1 call unintentionally to a USA phone number-- --a mistake on my part- since they charge £1.40 for that. I don't think I am abusing the SIM. I bought it mainly for testing. I think if one were traveling to the UK or Europe it is a viable choice. |
