Prepaid SIM for Netherlands and Belgium -
13-03-2013, 13:39
I'm planning a holiday for 2 weeks in Netherlands and Belgium. I'll need a prepaid SIM for voice service while on holiday. I expect to use about 1 hour of talk time during the 2 weeks. Any suggestions for a prepaid SIM? Also, can I buy the SIM when I arrive in Amsterdam?

You can buy Dutch Lycamobile SIM cards from any GWK Travelex exchange booth at Schiphol. They're EUR10 and come with some credit.
You can also order a free one off their web site and have it sent to your hotel there, but the process takes ~ 2 weeks. Mobile phones: iPhone 5, Blackberry 9900, Nexus S, Samsung S3322 duos Mobile data cards: Huawei E587u-5, Huawei E583c, Huawei E160 Postpaid SIMs: CA: Fido, Wind; INTL: Telna Prepaid SIMs: DE: Fonic, Lidl; AT: yesss!, bob; UK: O2; US: AT&T; RO: Orange, Vodafone; FR: b&you, Lycamobile; NL: Lycamobile; BE: Lycamobile, Jim Mobile; CL: Entel; MX: Telcel; INTL: eKit Blue, eKit Yellow Dead SIMs: too many to list |
