Default T-Mobile forwarding to VOIP - 23-03-2008, 19:00

I have T-Mobile pre-paid service and I'd like to forward calls to my computer VOIP number when I'm in front of the computer to save T-Mobile airtime. Is anyone else doing something like this? How do you do it?

You can't. TMO USA does not allow call forwarding. (And even if it did, it wouldn't save you money, as standard practice is that calls forwarded outside the same network cost the same as if the recipient placed them.)

Post Pay plans do allow call forwarding to other numbers besides standard voice mail. Perhaps you wish to switch.

What I really need is Grand Central to allow transferring of phone numbers to their service.

Thanks, I've already got one though. Can't use it until they allow me to transfer my number to them though. International (paid) call forwarding is the other feature I need.

You could get a VoIP number from a SIP provider (les.net, voip.ms, voicestick.com, etc.) and forward that instead.

I ported numbers into les.net from other providers.
