Default MaxRoam SIM cards arriving on EasyJet flights - 25-02-2012, 15:41

EasyJet customers will now be able to purchase a ready-to-go MaxRoam SIM card on board all flights as part of Cubic Telecom’s new deal with the airline.

Cubic Telecom was founded in 2007 and is aiming to cut the cost of using mobile phones while abroad. It has partnered with EasyJet, which operates more than 200 aircrafts on 500 routes between 118 European, North African and West Asian cities.

Customers can use the SIM cards to avoid roaming charges. They can receive all calls for free and make calls to any destination in the world for 15 cents per minute. They can also use the internet from their phones for €10 for 500MB.

“We are delighted to announce this agreement to provide MaxRoam on Easyjet,” said Kieran Sexton, Cubic Telecom sales director.

“It is the ideal partner for MaxRoam to provide passengers with a high-quality, low-cost roaming service when travelling and to avoid a nasty bill shock when they return home,” he said.

Maxroam has a good deal with British Vodafone, change the number of your sim card in +44 7436 xxx xxx (07436 vodafone-uk, new vmno low-cost maxroam in the UK) before +44 7937 (Jersey) etc...

Maxroam Today, in cooperation with RYANAIR...

Yes, see link:

Ryanair-Maxroam!

And In the UK in association with Vodafone as VMNO, have them call +44 (0) 7436 xxx xxx (true british number, no jersey and isle of man etc) and tariff of 0.15 € in UK, see link:

Maxroam

ok but where in MAXROAM - Low Cost International Roaming for Mobiles and Cell Phones do they say that they now give a +44 (0) 7436 number?
have you order a sim from ryanair or from maxroam directly?

i think that ryuanair still sell their old simcards (without the new uk rates & vodafone numbering).
the new simcards are only accessible, i think, only from Maxroam - Low Cost International Roaming for Mobiles and Cell Phones

I ordered the Ryanair sim card frist time, I had a call from Jersey (+447937), when they Maxroam activate cooperation with Vodavone, Maxroam they sent me a new sim card to call from UK (+447436) gratis!

I put two links, it is best to look and get in touch with Maxroam.

Ps: sorry for my bad English writing

which voip/sip provider do you use to call these new maxroam's +447436 numbers?

just to let you know that ruyanair calling rates are more expensive compared to the sims sold directly from maxroam.com.
you can check this here:
