Default sim & pda's - 28-05-2008, 06:08

Hello

Does anyone use an international sim card like United Mobile ring back with a PDA.
I have tried two different makes of PDA, Eten & Blackberry and a recorded message says international calls are barred. The same unlocked PDA's work fine with an Orange or Vodaphone PAYG card but not an international sim.
Any suggestions at all please as the very same cards also work fine in my old Nokia mobile.

Thanks very much for the info. So I could go and purchase a P3600 and a UM card should be okay. I also use the 09 card. If one does not work in a particular place/country the other usually does. Changing the subject off topic, what did you think of the P3600 in particular phone & gps wise !!
Thanks again

Default Manual dialling - 29-05-2008, 23:24

With any Manx based roaming sim card +447624 or +447924 you can use a manual string to dial out.

*125*1*+number you want to call #

GeoSIM works with an o2 XDA Exec and o2 Stella XDA without unlocking. It seems o2 do not lock their PDAs
