I mentioned his email address somewhere in this thread.

Further testing by me:

1. The ID doesn't show up on calls. It does show up in the form of a text msg. on unansered calls, and is vocalized by the VM system when you pick up a msg.

2. The system does NOT notify you when you have a msg. waiting! It does take messages fine. They are date stamped GMT.

3. The vice quality when calling VM does not seem as good as making regular calls.

4. Phone that is called rings in less than 3 seconds. Your Yackie phone immediately generates a virtual ringing and a voice that repeats a couple times that "you are connecting".

5. If phone is off, calls go to VM INSTANTLY. No ring.

Chris - I just bought 3 new L6 phones - 2 for me, one for someone else. They are fine for me - EXCEPT - they only store 5 voice dialling numbers! I can keep one, but I need voice dialling on my main phone. My 3+ y.o. phone has 10 or 15 voice dialed numbers stored, and I think the V330 I just "gave" to a member here could store more than 5. I am not happy.
I didn't realize they had this limitation until i started programming in the numbers last nite.

If you want a brand new L6 quad-band (unlocked) - PM me. (It works fine w. my Yackie SIM.)

Make use of T-M's UMA/wifi free calling from any place in the world with access to wifi. I use an LG G6, wife an S7)
A/o Oct 20, 2013 no need for intl prepaid as T-Mobile U.S. includes voice roaming at 20¢/min (in and out)., unlimited text (in and out), and unlimited data in 140+ countries.

My Plan -[6 lines] U.S. T-Mobile unlimited minutes (incoming and outgoing), unlimited text, fast data on each line. that $145/mo. total! . (In U.S. no surcharge for calling a cell.) If a line exceeds 2G of data in a month, pay $10 more for that line. [That only happens a couple times/year.

I'd suggest the Motorola phones over the mystery manufacturer phone. I have an unlocked v3 razr flip-phone in black and am quite pleased with it. Works perfectly with either a callback sim or a country specific prepaid sim. Small, well made, lots of features, reasonably priced. The L series phones are also quality handsets. The Motorola PC software and cable that usually comes with either phone is also very easy to install and use and can save you some money (I can transfer photos/videos/wallpaper/ringers directly to/from my PC).

Satphone: InMarSat
Broadband US Wireless Data: AT&T postpaid, Sprint (Karma Mobility prepaid)
Broadband International Data: SkyRoam

Can anyone please tell me how long shipments are currently running from the time ordered until receipt? Also, is it possible to view call logs via the web? I thought I read in another thread that their web functionality was not functional yet, anyone know what features will be available via web when its launched?

Thanks

Thanks for your advice,
The V3 is on sale for around 210$ here or slightly less 2nd hand.
Personally I perfer bar phones thats why i also looked at the L7 - which is a bit more expensive.

Lets see who will have faster delivery

All the same here Snidely.

The one I would really like to have is the VM notification. I don't want to be calling VM often and burning up credit, to see if I have a message. I have already informed Cizake about this, and he mentioned that he has forwarded a ticket to the Tech team. So, you may want to do the same Snidely. Since, it's working for some and not for others.

Money69, The viewing of call logs via the web is not available yet. According to Cizake, it should be available soon.

I placed my order on 11/07. As I had received nothing on 21/07, I emailed Cizake. He answered that it had been sent on 20/07 and that I should receive it on Monday 24/07. I haven't received it yet - and I'm travelling on Sunday, so I think I will travel without the SIM card I ordered for my travel...

Ask Cizake for a tracking #. He sent one to all of us that ordered from here. I hope you do get it (and that it's working) before sunday.

As Bossman mentioned, ask for a tracking no. Mine was sent fm. Israel on 7/20 and was in my hands before noon on July 24.
