I think there could be 40 or 50 CallKey ones, and half a dozen Callblue

Oh, my God! Maybe it's time to start on PPGSM a new section "International Manx Cards" (and a new section on the forum as well)

don't know - the number may be an over-estimate, but I feel that I've looked at so many (as you have) there could be nearly 30 I've seen, though several are just co-rebrands from the same underlying firms, like EnglandCalling on Maxsim

And Callblue does ultimately go through CallKey, which I've only just actually found out; I wondered before why some firms apparently hadn't heard of each other, but that's probably just at CS level.

My experience with callblue is terrible!I ordered a simcard from them two weeks ago got an email to confirm payment has been taken and never got anything from them!I called at various times but could never talk to anyone and I left about half a dozen messages voicemail, email and through their web helpfiles but nobody ever came back to me!So that is terrible or actually no customer service at all!I am really surprised they are in a good position on www.prepaidgsm.com!I thought they only commented or advertised on trustworthy companies!

I bought my Callblue sim through 0044 in the UK. I've been using it on and off for a few months and for the most part its fine: sms works flawlessly and was cheap (was 0.15?/sms until last week, now 0.38?!). Outgoing call rates were fine and the callback method works fine most of the time.

What I am having problems with however is incoming calls. 90% of incoming calls will not ring the handset. The caller hears a ringing tone which eventually goes to voicemail, but the handset simply wont ring. I usually ask a caller to try 3 or 4 times to make the handset ring, which simply isnt practical if I want to give out the number.

Callblue support is very poor and I'm not very impressed with 0044 - they just forwarded my emails to Callblue who dont reply. With the rate hike this week it makes the sim look very poor in comparison to other IoM sims so I'll be shopping around for another solution.

That's a bit surprising. I'm not aware of any failed actual incoming calls, and missed ones end up in the voicemail; I usually forward my O2 to it, and other call forwarding works. Using separate callback, I've occasionally had calls not arrive, and then used a different trigger; I can't tell if this is in the forwarding, callback or the reachability of the SIM, but it only affects about 10% of attempted outgoing calls.

Well, our site is prepaidgsm.NET :P and this forum is here for helping yourself too.

Personally I have a CallBlue (see my signature) and I used it not so much. But you can find a lot of experience from our members, your is important for me and PPGSM. Then you know, we speak about the offers, very often we try to be clear but we need similar feedback. How to know a trustworthy company? Thanks to you dear readers, too! :help:

It seems that callblue is getting even more expensive.
The sim costs 50$ with no credit in it and sms are @ 0,38$ instead of 0,15$...

I am using globalsim (the one from freeglobalsim) and I am very satisfied with it. The sim itself is free, you just pay for the credit. The call quality is very good and all calls have completed sucsessfully. You get an SMS after each outgoing call indicating the cost of the call (it can be disabled), Checking VM is free, and the number can be forwarded to any number. SMS cost varies depending on country though. You can forward, disable/enable VM, check VM, topup, etc. from the website. Most of these functions are also available via the phone at no extra charge.

It needs to be topped up every 6 months though. The list of free incoming countries may be limited for some, but it's good enough for me. And, outgong calls cost in these countries are not bad at all.
