![]() I believe you can only do a balance transfer after activating the new card via the “my orders” link using the PUK that came with the sim. After that, the UM+ number showed up in the transfer to dropdown. Yes, before activating the new sim the only option was “do not transfer”

![]() I think United Mobile have partnered with Jersey Telecom for commercial reasons.
Giving customers choice in prices, telephone prefix that they can be reached on, where to roam, plus extra services later in the year such as data. This probably why they let existing customers upto a deadline upgrade to the UM+ SIM card to see what their customer base would do and what feedback they would get. As no-one has to spend anything to get the new card and no-one loses out by not being able to keep the old card. So in the future they might give everyone the option to buy a UM +423 and/or UM +44 cards (otherwise why would they have to seperate name for their cards) |

![]() All the international sims (UM, yackie, freeglobalsim) and some local sims I have had come with call waiting deactivated by default. I usually had to activate it through the phone's menu. Have you tried that? When I try the call waiting menu on my V551, it says request not successful.

![]() As of today, when my number is called it says it's not a working number (Phone on or off), also when I try outgoing calls (both tmobile and At&T), it says Your SIM card has not been activated yet. You will be connected to cuts. service. Please wait...
BTW, it all worked fine yesterday. Outgoing/incoming, SMS, caller ID, etc. Sim cards: AT&T (Contract), 3 UK, Piranha Mobile |
