No it is there further down when you make a selection between 2 countries.
e.g.
Quote:
Outgoing call :
You call from Bahrain to UK Mobile : 0.31 €/mn
You call from : Bahrain to UK Land Line : 0.15 €/mn
Sending SMS : 0.18 €/sms
Incoming Call when in Bahrain
Caller reach you on your cell phone: 0.12 €/mn
Receiving SMS : FREE

At first glance it would seem "as Yackie puts it" the financial part of the package is to serve the "unbanked" classes in the world. What I don't understand is - why these types of customers would want an international GSM card. The minority of people in this class who can afford a cell phone would get a prepaid in their home country. They obviously don't travel - so what use would they have for the GSM card Yackie is selling?
Seems like 2 different products to serve 2 completely different set of customers.

Make use of T-M's UMA/wifi free calling from any place in the world with access to wifi. I use an LG G6, wife an S7)
A/o Oct 20, 2013 no need for intl prepaid as T-Mobile U.S. includes voice roaming at 20¢/min (in and out)., unlimited text (in and out), and unlimited data in 140+ countries.

My Plan -[6 lines] U.S. T-Mobile unlimited minutes (incoming and outgoing), unlimited text, fast data on each line. that $145/mo. total! . (In U.S. no surcharge for calling a cell.) If a line exceeds 2G of data in a month, pay $10 more for that line. [That only happens a couple times/year.

I just registered for my exchange card.

Looking at the website I am not really impressed by the offer.

Voip rates are not competitive. I am using voicetrading and rates are much lower.

Seems like the phone does not have a fixed number you can call only a coutnriy did number that connects to the phone or a special number to sms. This reminds me of the israeli numbers they were using before. You have to give a number for calling and anther for sending sms, yackie correct me if I am wrong.

Incoming call cost to major eu countries is 0.21 euro per minute. This is not competivite. Eu has sent maximum roaming rates for EU operators and those rates are not much higher. Outgoing call rates are lower than the maximum EU set rates.
No free or low incoing roaming charges here.

Many will not be interested in the pay/money part of the yackie solution as this is a forum about mobiles.

Doesn't look like a card I am going to use frequent in the near future but will test it.

Hi Bob,

Where did you find the page to apply for the exchange card (I assume to trade in your former Yackie card) ?

I'm sure I'm missing it. (need glasses)

Thanks
Yves

Thanks for the info.

Next question.

What about incoming call cost. When someone calls the dutch +31 phone number will there be free roaming ?
I understand that when someone calls a did number this has to be forwarded to the dutch number and will cost extra.

Can you comment on this ?

Hello

As the dutch mobile number is a regular one, and will cost few cts to be called, it's no room for a free incoming, so we charge the terminaison fees + the technical cost we have for receiving the call, same for the DID, and it's no extra call to receive the call to the DID in place of the Dutch number

We will publish a new rates tables monday or tuesday with the incoming call rates lowered .

Have a great week end

Default anyone receive this SIM yet? - 22-04-2010, 02:51

I'm just wondering if anyone has received the new one in the mail. I had credit on my old Yackie SIM before it went dead (maybe a year and a half ago) and Yackie hasn't contacted me to confirm my address.

BBob, while I do not have the replacement sim yet, the email they sent made it seem like a DID is not a must. The email said the sim comes with a Belgium number and that one can rent a DID if wanted.
