Well that's it. I was just informed that Global Roaming/Celtrek is finished. My heart goes out to all those who lost their jobs. Puts the loss of my money in perspective.

Not surprising, but who were you told by, and how reliable is that source?

I'm challening my recent purchase on my Credit Card since they never provided the Service I purchased.

I'm not surprised either and yes I do feel for those who have lost their livelihoods. That said, Global Roaming needs to pony up the cash they took from customers like me. cizake can you please respond to e-mails and phone calls or at least post a generic response here??

I cannot reveal my source but he/she is impeccable, on the inside. I was advised to join a long list of people who will never see their money again. Note that GR has yet to communicate this to customers and is still taking money for Nexus Ones (but not for sims), despite the company failure.

PBCUPS it looks like they've stopped selling Nexus Ones, too. RIP Global Roaming. Now give me back my %$&#@£ money.

Sorry for sounding smug but is anyone surprised that a company charging $35 to send the SIM cards to EU and paying a staggering $67 for shipping (their statement) is not doing so well?

I don't understand how and why this should affect service provision? Please explain?

SEDWARDS: The service has been down since last Tuesday.

andy: I told you I don't know where pbcups got info, but the link I sent you corroborates the info.

Good luck getting refunds, everyone, and good luck to GR ex-staff in finding new work. You're in my thoughts.
