09-08-2013, 22:18 Hi to all, I have a new (never used in Italy) SIM that a friend recharged from Italy. Leaving in a few weeks and need Data (Galaxy S3 unlocked smartphone). I am considering 2 plans: 1GB, 30 days, 10 eu. no activation fee: TimSmartMese 4Gb, 30 days, 12 eu. + 5 eu. activation fee: NewInternetStart I believe I can activate either (can anyone confirm this ?), but I see something on the TIM site that seems to say that the activation fee is waved for a 'New SIM card': "É previsto un contributo attivazione pari a 5€ che è gratuito per chi attiva l'opzione su una nuova TIM Card. L'opzione è a rinnovo automatico ed a tempo indeterminato, salvo recess." I am quite sure I have enough of 1Gb for 3 weeks, but if I can get 4 Gb for 12 eu. (and not 17 eu.) I would go for that. Is it possible that they wave the activation fee for a first time activation ? Thanks, Frank |
