VOIP? Has anyone ever "played around with" Piranha's VoIP? You could call a TelnaMobile phone by its SIP address. You could also use Telna's SIP server to make free calls to other SIP addresses. I'm wondering if anything like this is possible with Piranha?

Update: I've tried calling [US_number]@piranhavoip.net and [VoIP_ID]@piranhavoip.net. Neither connected. They both gave Not_Found errors.

Just a question to all forum's members:
do you use the Piranha in a single or dual sim? Mine worked flawlessly (more or less) for a month, then when called, said "out of reach". It has always been used in my dual sim and the customer care says that this malfunction could be due to the dual sim. So my question is: why did it work and then not?

International roaming sim in portfolio:
Tellink, Lemonsim, Travelsim, Airbalticcard, Mtx Connect.
Slot 1
Ho. Mobile
Slot 2
Tellink Roaming Sim

Abandoned sim cards: Piranha mobile, Ortel Mobile

I have used mine in both dual band single SIM phone. Customer service agent is wrong here. It has nothing to do with dual or single SIM. Must be another issue.

Thanks. I hope they will find that the sim is defective so they will ship another.

I don't have my Piranha SIM right now but my STK is highly abbreviated compared to yours. As I recall, it has Trigger Mode, Forward and Balance. I remarked on how the landline callback was much more difficult than my Telna SIM, that had it in the STK. I received it just this month.

Yes, when I told them they said that this depends on sim version. Mine was the v 8 and had just three options.

yep they use Zoiper now, its very good, but when you install you have to use Piranha UK as provider and all settings are auto installed, you only need U/N and P/W.

I use CSIPsimple. All I had to enter was the user name, server and password and it worked.

I don't know if Piranha's server implements the G.729 VoIP CODEC or not. For all the SIP clients I know of, they charge about US$10 extra for the basic CODEC without any annexes.
