First, I'd see whether the SIM is really a UK mobile number or whether it is from the IOM or the Jersey. Many carriers will not treat calls to these numbers as coming out of the standard pool of mobile minutes that many people have now a days. There quoting BT's 13p rate for calling the number makes me particularly suspicious about that.

Their rates aren't bad. I'm pleased that they are free incoming in the UAE, but note that it is not a dual IMSI making their North American rates a bit high (particularly Canada).
