![]() Ring2skype.com seems to have setup a method to call registered skype users via geographic access numbers in an impressive list of countries! (Somehow it excludes Germany though).
If you do not have net access, then this could be a cheap way of calling home via a local prepaid SIM. All you pay is a local call rate to the gateway provided there is one in the country you are visiting. The service is a similar offering to the various hosted SIP gateway numbers which also exist all over the world. Of course Skype is not SIP compatible but I think you can also call skype users on those via other SIP to Skype gateways. |
