The story telecom rates are interesting. some countries have riddiculously high rates, others (e.g. south korea) have very low rates. Makes it look a bit suspicious to me... Correct me if i am wrong.

What countries are you referring to? (An honest question, not sarcasm). They don't have a dual-IMSI phone so it is not cheap in North America. They seem to be targeting Brits and have cheaper rates in common British holiday destinations. Their rates in the Americas aren't good. Their SMS connection rate is high. I did a whois on the website and they have been around for a while.
