O2 UK has announced that it's carried out its first tests in Slough

As well as those news items. there seem to be some people starting scares it would interfere with cable TV - maybe there's some misunderstanding of a few things, like frequency allocations like the 800 MHz to be released from analogue broadcast TV, or prospective 2.6 GHz bands due to be auctioned some time or other, or the likelihood of fibre optics being affected anyway.
