Travelsim - US to Estonia Calling Card

It's strange, my travelsim allways works fine during my travels, so
this sim in my expirience is most reliable (I tried some another vendors before)

About access from US, I know that some companies offer free access via 1-800 to estonian SIMs, via number 1-877-202-3800 (telestial), but in this case you will pay for these inbound calls,

also Skype is another good solution for calling to Estonia that keeps your free-inbound

Thanks for all the responses! I keep hearing mixed opinions on the reliability of Travelsim, is it that calls are just bad quality? or will calls not connect at all?

Also I have read that texting prices in the EU were just capped at €0,11 per text no matter where you are (in the EU). Is this true? Travelsim shows the updated price but most other places I look still have significantly higher texting prices. Does anyone know a little more about this? Thanks

Both--but it was the failures to connect that drove me away.

My advice, do not depend 100% on this +372 number for receiving calls from the USA. Just too unreliable to reach that number from here.

My feeling is that many U.S. long distance carriers blocked calling to +423 and +372 (United Mobile and TravelSim) numbers was because costs were MUCH MORE expensive than calling regular numbers - and that customers complained about the "outrageous" charges. I know carriers blocked calls to UM numbers. I assume some do the same to TravelSim numbers.

IF you are in the U.S. and want to call anywhere - the best option is to use Google Voice, especially if you are calling from a cell phone. With an Android phone, you can download a GV app that makes routing a call via GV as easily as dialing directly. I think you can use GV from a landline as well.
Rates to Egypt are high. It is the only country I know where it is more xpensive to call a landline (13 cents/min) than a cell (11 cents/min.)
You would need to get yourself a GV number (free) and if you want to call outside the U.S. or Canada - deposit some money in your Google Acct.

As to your question about calling from Egypt - wouldn't know the answer. If on wifi you could use Skype.
