If your apartment is provided by your employer, you can aford internet access. I suspect DSL and Cable internet is available. If you are in an apartment, I would not be shocked if you can access Wi-Fi from you neighbor[s]. I would be shocked if you could not. Unless they are all Amish--but Amish do use cell phones at times.
