I am out of town now. There is a good chance my cards have been delivered, but I won't know until I return.

I did just try to set forwarding using the web interface, but it would not take. Perhaps I need to use the card once before forwarding will work. Unfortunately I won't be able to do that for a while.

My MAXRoam cards arrived, but like others, I found that they are not working properly. Inbound rings to the Belgium number, but not to my US DID. Outbound works only with the *182* code. Forwarding does not appear to work for either the Belgium number or the US number, irrespective of whether I use the website or the phone to implement the forwarding. I have a support ticket in.

Hi,
did you try also to check if on outbound calls the caller ID is passed on. Quote:

No. I can't do that without incurring a charge, and I want to preserve the small amount remaining in my account until I'm sure I will be using this card. To test outbound calling, I dialed a number with *182* and saw that it rang me back, but I did not answer the callback.

I used this card a little on a recent trip. The outbound caller ID is definitely passed on. The card worked in all the countries visited. Even on the ships's network 901-18.

Are they still charging for outbound calls that are not answered i.e. they charge you from the callback on? If so, a no go to me.

I am really not sure if the cards still charges ass soon as the callback is received. The couple of calls that I made were answered.

Just got my cards, but they have no DID's associated, nor can I select any new ones from their dropdown list online. So, at the moment it does nothing more than any other SIM from Belgium!

I was able to dial out this morning without using *182*. I don't know what changed, since the card is the same. Also, Maxroam support told me that they are working on getting all credit and DIDs assigned, and on getting forwarding to work, so it sounds like they are planning to retain the same features as in the old card.
I will say that their customer support has been responsive. |
