I believe most that are holding out for this product are those of us that had some credit on our old yackie account before they went belly up. So most feel we are at least owed our credit somehow...be it on their new sim card or not. It's another story as to how many of us will actually topup and continue to use yackie. From my brief view of the website, some rates seem ok. However there is nothing new or exceptional about what I saw.

It's a good job you remembered to renew that domain name a couple of years ago.

I wish you luck, though I wonder how much people will take to integrating your product lines like this

I suspect that at the moment most people use either credit or debit cards or both, rather than prepaid top-up products, though there's obviously space for prepaid for people with low credit ratings, or for specialist versions with good foreign exchange rates, and which aren't open-ended if lost or subjected to fraud.

I think mobile cash transactions will become more common. We're told that some vending machines in some countries (Finland?) use text message payment, and some car parks here are supposed to eventually work like that, though the only time I tried it in the interim I got bored with the time-wasting phone-in registration process on a premium rate number, and drove off to park elsewhere.

I'm just wondering what the intention is once it's launched. Is it to integrate the mobile wallet and a roaming SIM, off a singular prepaid account?

So, credit the account, incur roaming charges if you want to roam with the SIM and/or complete mobile payment transactions, from the same account?

Well, now that the emergence of the SIM has been declared, I expect we'll be treated to more details in due course

Several railway station vending machines in Germany and Austria accept mobile payments. It annoyed me though as people who were roaming with a foreign SIM could not buy! Even bicycles in Germany can be paid and rented by mobile payment.

However, to be honest I had a look at the site and in a nutshell, I'm confused. What is the differentiation between Paytoo and Yackie? Why have you said Paytoo wil be used in some coutries and Yackie elsewhere? I hate having to be a detective with something that is supposed to sell itself.

Too many questions, and I wish user Yackie would post something non-cryptic here for a change. For a start, why don't you introduce your "new product", without as usual the members here having to ask a 100 questions and make guesses. Go ahead. Be bold. Start a new thread called PayToo Mobile. Don't you think the several hundred highly international users of this site who could be potential customers could do with a bit of a personal introduction?

Yackie Mobile new SIM card (10/10/09)

But wait Yackie did say it's not a yackie sim card as they will not offer anything. Now I see some make your money mobile which is nothing new, has been done before and don't kniw if that will be a big succes.

so still waiting on some more info on the new system. so far only marketing it will be the best different bla bla bla.

You have a right to be skeptical. I'll believe it if and when they actually mail out new sim cards. I'm not holding my breath...

PetKow and Barno, ......you have both Right

Yackiemobile.com was reopened JUST for our distributors who still want to sell this SIM card, and ONLY the telecom Product

So we will not promote, excepted through these distributors and also through some white label agreement the SIM Card Under Yackie mobile

And this will be the last post under the Yackie mobile matter, excepted for answering some specific questions related to the SIM card exclusively

And Yes, with Paytoo Mobile, we will release the first global Mobile wallet who merge the telecom product with a financial product including a NFC contactless payment, a bare code payment and a Mastercard debit card attached to a unified balance

Added to a Top Up network with 400 000 Stores locations worldwide and you realy have a product for Travellers, unbancked peoples and nomades.....

In fact we have merged Paytoo, the payment solution and Yackie Mobile the telecom services for become Paytoo Mobile

The Telecom side will offer you to have the SIM card ( same base that Yackie Mobile ) but not only, the voip , the did, the web callback, the sms callback, all services are include and will share the same balance, so we dont target only the SIM user, but any customers who want to have a mobile wallet by using his own Operator, and you can add any time the sim card....

The Payment and Mobile money transfer will offer you to transfer money anywhere, to pay ( store, merchant, bill ) to redeem at stores, or to withdraw at one ATM some cash by using your mastercard

Press release will start next week, Press conference is planified for November 15, both in France, australia and USA...

It's a very big project, and it was our original project at the begining, as our goal was not to offer only a sim card, but a Mobile wallet ...

and it's because we will send a Paytoo Mobile card to our costomers.....and not a simple Yackie Mobile...

For more informations, i invite you to go to Paymotech - Home

Have a great Day...

Regards

MP
