Cherry Mobile - Not in service !

It seems that cherry mobile has ceased trading of there roaming sim cards.

They only changed over from a isle of man (447624) to Jersey number (07509) at the beginning of the year.

I wonder who's next to close down?

Unfortunately we are no longer selling our roaming SIM card. However we are continuing to serveice our existing customer base.

Some of the guys I work with had bought sim4travel from easyjet, but said they were super unreliable. Sim4travel, cherry, UM+ and Callblue all used Jersey telecom and I guess all have suffered the same unreliability problems - Callblue and Cherry no longer sell sims, the only ones still left are Sim4travel and UM+. UM arent really pushing the + anymore and I read Sim4Travel were bought out by some other company recently, though I guess they still sell the sim card. Tough business to be involved in ...
