Is the L6 you have a triband or a quadband model? Some L6s are quad, but most are triband, which may be a bit of an issue in Europe if the provider you want to use uses the band you don't have. (And which bands does your BlackBerry cover?)
Former DE: Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2, Blauworld, 01051mobile, Solomo, Lycamobile, Simyo, Congstar, Fonic, Edeka Mobile, Lidl Mobile; PL: Heyah, Era, Virgin, Sami Swoi, Orange, POP, iPlus, Carrefour Mova, Telepin Mobi, Play, Lycamobile, T-Mobile; UK: Vodafone, T-Mobile, Virgin; US: T-Mobile, AT&T, Lycamobile; CZ: Vodafone, Oskar; ES: Lebara; GR: Vodafone, Wind; UA: Vodafone; IL: Orange; TR: Turkcell |

I will be traveling in France and Spain this September. I have a dual band (900/1800) Samsung SGH-s500 I bought in Indonesia a few years ago, and wanted to know if I can buy a SIM that will work in both France and Spain. Am I better off buying from the US or waiting until I get to Paris?
Thanks. |

don't you like international sims like Travelsim or icq um+? Imho they are cheaper than local sims (above all if you travelling not only in 1 country)
My best sim?--> Wind +39-328 My phones: Samsung Galaxy Next S5570 |

. At most, we'll only be using our phones to call each other just in case we choose to go our own way (ie. shopping) and for sure only once a day to call Canada and see how things are back home while traveling in Europe.I also want a standard UK number versus some weird Estonian number. |

Just like the heading says, I received them today! Popped them in my Motorola L6 and my daughter's Siemens M55 (both are unlocked) and the sim cards are ACTIVE!
I actually even received a text message from a promotional long distance company in the UK, more proof that the sim card is active. All I need to do now is top-up the cards when we arrive at Heathrow! THANKS to all who replied |
