The comparsion in your first posting assumes the UM+ SIM to cost € 39, but actually it is available practically for free since December, if you order it through this link. Regarding your tariffs neither 078 nor 079 can convince me - incoming calls are charged in a lot of countries, where I enjoyed free incoming calls with UM+ recently (New Zealand, Mauritius, Tanzania) and outgoing calls are more expensive than UM+ in most places. Moreover the annual network fee of £12, which applies for your 079-service, isn't a bargain, too. Even if you underbid UM+, I'd prefer them over some backyard company, after we saw a lot of roaming discounters failing suddenly and correspondingly SIM cards out of service in the past. So better rely on a big player with eBay/Skype as an investor in the background. Beyond that the inbound numbers for Austria and Germany, which you offer, are unattractive, as they are relatively expensive to call, so callers better dial directly the British number. As regards to your information on "GSM Networks" 3G primarily operates at 2100 MHz. Further bands are allocated at 850 MHz (e.g. Australia & Brazil), 900 MHz (e.g. Europe), 1700 MHz (e.g. USA), 1900 MHz (e.g. Jersey & South America) and 850/1900 (e.g. North America). However there's no 3G network on the 450 MHz-band, which you mention. (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS_frequency_bands). Lastly let me mention that your website's appearance isn't very professional - neihter by design nor by the content (especially the inconvenient and inconsistent tariff calculators). You should consider visualizing information on roaming countires by a coloured map. postpaid: O2 on Business XL; prepaid: DE: Aldi Talk, Lidl; UK: 3; BG: MTel, vivacom; RU: MTS; RS: MTS; UAE: du Tourist SIM; INT'L: toggle mobile VoIP: sipgate.de (German DID); sipgate.co.uk (British DID); ukddi.com (British DID); sipcall.ch (Swiss DID); megafon.bg (Bulgarian DID); InterVoip.com |
