I was in France for nearly 3 weeks, and couldn't persuade myself to get a French SIM in the end, despite a provisional plan to use SFR La Carte with it's 30 cents a call option, plus DialNow callthrough from half a cent.

I holiday in Normandy for a week in a year. I want to have laptop internet access, using my Motorola KRZR k1 quad-band mobile as a modem.
Would the Bouygues SIM provide such a service for a limited (say 1 month) period without a long contract or humongous download MB charges? I believe there is a Vodafone CallNow card (Germany) which does this and allows roaming? Any thoughts/alternatives/choices information would be welcome. roj ![]() |
