Default UM Customer Service - 11-07-2007, 16:45

I've been reporting the unreliable service in Australia for the UM card, both here and to UM directly. I've had an open case number for a couple of months now. Here's the most recent reply....

I am terribly sorry about the inconvenience.

As you stated correctly the situation in Australia is known for quite
some time now and we are definitely not pleased with it either. It is
caused by technical problems of one of the local carriers and we don’t
have direct influence on the progress of the situation. I can assure
you we are in touch with our local partners to find a satisfying solution
any time soon but at this point unfortunately I cannot give you a
specific date when we expect the network to be up and running again.

Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience."

Pretty much unhelpful but at least they were nice about it, don't you think? Sorry UM, but you gotta go. Should have a Travelsim waiting for me when I get back from this trip.

Can anyone comment on the Customer Service from Travelsim?
