I'll let someone more experienced answer your other Q's, but I can say GeoSIM has a 30/6 billing cycle. Also from UK (BT) landlines, one can call the IOM numbering range that GeoSIM is on for 2p/min on weekends and 6p/min at other times by subscribing to http://www.18185.co.uk. I believe you get very competitive rates from German landlines too. From a German (D Telekom) landline, you can try and dial any of 010058, 01095, 010090, 01097, or 01052 followed by the full international number 00447924....
