Don't hold your breath on receiving your SIM card. I ordered mine on June 20th. They promptly charged my credit card on the 21st. I also got the call on last Wednesday (June 28th) asking me whether I still wanted the card (which I said yes) and promising me that it'll be shipped immediately next day. I am located in the US (California to be exact). So fast forward another week to today. Seeing that other members of this board has gotten the SIM card while I still haven't heard a thing from Yackie, today I did a "live chat" with their customer service. What I found out is that they are still out-of-stock and have no clue when more SIM cards will come in. I did order mine thru the prepaidgsm.net link, so the promise of fulfilling prepaidgsm.net order first is total BS. So far I can NOT recommend anyone from ordering from this company (unless you want the usual "charge your credit card first and not get your product treatment"). Sorry for the rant, I am just a tad POed. I was going to give a complete report after using the card in Singapore (leaving next week). I guess there is almost no point now. I am that close from cancelling my order. |
