The advantage of this card is the fact that it runs on the vodafone network and not on e-plus. This gives you a better network coverage outside the urban areas and the possibility to set diversions and switch off the voice mail (or set it to a useful time - the e-plus cards always pick up after a very few rings which makes it even hard to dig the phone out of the pocket before voicemail hits in)...

Advantage from the e-plus cards is that many people in germany use the "Base" tariff already which gives them free unlimited calls to e-plus and landlines...

So its always your choice what suits you best.
