My wife and I both have iphone 4S's and plan on using Gevey Ultra S units with the prepaid card in Europe to unlock them. Assuming that these work (which I think they will) I want to be able to use Google Voice and/or Skype while there to call the US utilizing cellular data and/or wifi.

If I understand it correctly, TIM does not allow VOIP services like these to work over their data plans -- is that right? Additionally, it sounds like COOPVoce will. I am also assuming that I can get the microsims that will work in the phone at either COOP or TIM. Any advice/feedback here on whether or not I have this stuff right would be hugely appreciated. Thanks! Ray |
