![]() Surfing the Internet couple days ago I have found information the Dutch operator Lycamobile opened its branch in Poland in October, 2011. It works as MVNO on Plus' Infrastructure. As the information hasn't been delivered widely to public information, very little people know about the fact.
I decided to order a SIM card and test. To order you have to visit operator's web site www.lycamobile.pl, then click "BEZPŁATNA KARTA SIM" link on the right, fill the form and wait. They need your name, address, alternative telephone number and email. I suppose they don't check if the name you put is real ![]() After 2 days I received the card. There's 1 PLN to use. According to the information on the website, prices are as follow:
However, I haven't found out yet, how they bill (1/1? 60/60?) or what are data rates over those 300 MB. I'll try to get these information in their customer service. The customer service is avalible 9:00 - 21:00, they say multilingual. All these above clearly suggest Lycamobile is dedicated for those, whose families live abroad, and for immigrants living in Poland. former SIMs: mBank mobile, T-Mobile, Simlus, POP, Tak-Tak, Heyah, GaduAIR CH: Orange DE: E-Plus, Ortel DK: Lebara, Sonofon SE: Telenor |
