GPRS / 3G in Portugal

Hi all,

I go to Portugal 2 or 3 times a year and so far have used a UK Virgin SIM for very basic data access - generally checking email and a bit of MS Messenger.

Although they're the cheapest UK SIM for this kind of use - I still find myself racking up UKP20-30 per week, even though I limit my use.

Does anyone know more about this than I do?

(I'll not be taking a laptop, but using a 3G / GPRS phone and a Nokia 770 Internet Tablet - so won't be using huge amounts of data, but knowing I don't have restrictions would be nice)
