![]() Hi to all the cell phone experts.
I've been a lurker for quite a while but still am learning and have much to master. I do have to say the forums have been very informative and helpful. I wanted to order a sim from either United Mobile or TravelSIM, maybe both, using the links at this site of course, but neither of their websites has the provision to accept a complete US address (there is no field for the state). Is this a problem since it is being sent internationally? I suppose the question to ask is, has anyone else in this forum from the US (or Canada since their addresses utilize a province) ordered from them without any shipping troubles? I don't know that the US government, be it Customs or Postal Service, would accept or process something with only a partial address. Yes, the state can be derived from the zip code but to not have one listed definitely invites additional scrutiny and possible rejection or delays. In addition, the UM website has mandatory fields for an ID number and ID type. Since they will have my address, telephone number, and credit card, do they also need some form of ID? I can't imagine they would verify my driver's license information, for example, especially since they aren't even allowing me to specify which state I live in. Is the ID requirement normal for EU or UK sim purchases? Thanks in advance for your feedback and information. |
