A friend of mine is experiencing problems with a brandnew UM+ SIM with his Samsung Z500, which runs the latest official firmware release Z500CKEH2. When he switches it on, it immediately says "SIM not registered", allthough it works flawlessly in his HTC P3600 smartphone.
