Hi!

I'm curious which UK network supports the EDGE (Enhanced GPRS) data transmission technology? If any - how widely is that technology spread in the UK (number and size of the cities, main roads, tourist areas)?
I'm especially interested in T-Mobile network in Southampton, because of their very good data offer in both Pay as You Go and Pay Monthly plans. I'm going to move soon to Southampton and use their services as a temporary internet acces.

They offer a daily 1 Pound maximum charge for unlimited data in Pay as You Go plan (download speed may be limited after exceeding 40MB a day) and in Pay Monthly plan for 44 Pounds unlimited data including VOIP (possibly limited after exceeding 10GB a month).
Anyone knows any better mobile data offer?
