Jordan To The Usa On Fastlink Mobile

Hi, my wife is in Jordan and cannot call me in the US. She could but the cost is prohibitive.
Is it possible for me to SMS her a calling card number so she can phone me?

YES, but it might take several messages. You need local (Jordan) call in #, PIN and possibly other codes - with ATT you need the 10 digit US ATT call in #.

Why can't you call HER?

She can go to internet cafe and send you her hotel # via email, no? Or maybe they have call shops as in Europe. Or she can buy or borrow a Jordanian cell, no?

She has a local phone (Fastlink) but can only reveive text. She could call if I sent to her an international pin.

She lives there and is awaiting me but I cannot reach her without paying 3 bucks per minute!!!

Make sure ATT or MCI allow calling FROM Jordan if you go that way. I cannot verify that right now. It seems ONESUITE AND ENJOYPREPAID do not have access in Jordan.

LDpost.com seems to have a card that will work.

If you have high speed internet, look at voipgate.com only 11 cents a minute to a Jordanian mobile.

Can she dial a US number regardless of rate? I was wondering about a callback service?
