what is the minimum recharge amount ekit allows for the "Global Travel Service: sim? $10 or $30 ?

billing currency is USD or GBP? isn't metioned clearly in their website

I think the billing currency is the one that is shown in the charges=UK pounds.

The 8 ekit cards [all US$] the minimum is $10. But UK?? Why don't you ask them?

the problem is that they only post GBP billing sims to Europe countries, but i need a USD billing sim..

I have to once again chime in about how much I like Ekit's customer service. Just yesterday they again sent me an email telling me to make a call or text message to keep my SIM active and preserve my credits. A number of other companies would just love to have your SIM expire and keep your unused credits or charge to reactivate the SIM.

What is the UK number for ekit?

Since Betamax no longer supports IOM +447924 numbers, I am looking for an alternative to my Travelsim.

Isn't there any global SIM provider letting reach your mobile via SIP forward against a relatively low incoming fee?

a million dollar question! Betamax also blocked +4477000 cloud9 numbers, which are also blocked from nindino.

ekit number range for global premium service simcards is +4479370... is a Jersey Telecom number. but there is charge for incoming calls on these simcards.

The four ekit numbers I have are 447924xxxxxx.

While OneSIM does not appear to use SIP [you might want to look at their offering to figure it out], The do seem to offer

a relatively low incoming fee

on a VOIP offering linked to the SIM. But I guess I am confusing SIP and VOIP, so if that is true ignore me.

I only have six. Two are single USA number SIMple calling that have really good area codes for my purposes. The other 4 are dual number of various plans---but not a premium plan one.

On Sunday nights in California [Monday in the UK] I have this ritual to keep my four dual IMSI [1UK & 1US phone number] SIMs' US phone number 'active'. If I don't do this, my SIMs will not activate in the US and say 'invalid SIM' or 'Unregistered SIM' depending on the cell phone. I go to the ekit web site and under my details click on the activate button. Within a few minutes the same phone number will work where minutes before it said 'invalid SIM'.

This keeps the US number active and alive. For more info on 'alive' see the quote below. This saves me fifty cents a month---and that is why we are here--to save some money. These SIMs deactivate after seven calendar days from the previous activation--thus my every UK Monday routine. if you were not doing this, you would get a new number after two months inactivity; which might be a good thing if you detest your current US number.

You can extend the life of your US number by paying a fee of USD$ 0.50 per month.
At the end of each month, payment for the next month is automatically deducted from your credit balance.
You can cancel the monthly payment at any time by cancelling your number.

Please note: As long as you make a call or send a text message at least once every 2 months you will automatically retain it for future use,
and you do not need to pay the USD$ 0.50 per month fee. If you don't use the US number for more than 2 months
(and you haven't elected to pay USD$ 0.50 per month) the US number will be canceled and when you go to use
the service again a new US number will be sent to you via text message.

Your Global (44) number is retained indefinitely as long as you recharge minutes at least once every 15 months.
