I will travel to Switzerland for 3 days. I'd like to have a sim card for local calls with some internet for Google maps. Are there cheap options that I can buy from local stores there? Thanks.

Definitely OK Mobil. You can buy it in every K-Kiosk in Switzerland.

It does, however, take a little bit of time before they activate it (I bought mine ~19:00 and it was active the next day ~09:00) but I suspect this will be the case with every operator in Switzerland.

I got an OK mobil sim at the Basel airport last Friday afternoon. However, it never got activated during the weekend. I don't know if it is because it was weekend or the Basel airport K Kiosk didn't do a proper job. It's a waste of 15CHF. Just FYI.
