![]() Hi guys, need some help.
My wife & I arrived in Rome 3 days ago I bought 2 sim cards at Wind at 10 Euro each. One had voice and data (mine), while the other had data only (wife). At the shop, the guy asked which plan I would like to subscribe for the cards. I told him the 'Internet No Stop Weekly' which was at 3 euro a week. After inserting the cards into our phones (iPhone 4 and 3GS), we received an SMS a few hours later saying that the service was activated. (Or something to that effect after parsing it through Babelfish!). Both my wife and I used the phones to the next day. Good coverage and fast speeds. However, the next day, my phone (the voice/data plan) could no longer receive a 3G signal. I also received an SMS to top up my card. Can I check on the following: 1. Isn't the plan supposed to be an unlimited usage for 1 week? 2. We were using Google maps quite a bit and I was wondering whether this type of 'data' was not included in the package and hence incurred additional charges? Would greatly appreciate if someone can help on this issue, thanks! |

![]() Internet no stop weekly includes every kind of traffic, included google maps. The only limit is thath if you use more than 250mb your speed is reduced to 32kbps.
Maybe the sms you recived wasn't the one which confirms the activation of internet no stop, so, before the option was active, you was charged for your traffic. |
