![]() My son is going to China for 10 days. I plan to give him my unlocked quad band cell phone. I want him to buy a local Sim in China to use in the major cities to have a Chinese phone number to receive and make calls back to the U.S. Anyone know the best SIM for him to buy? Any with free incoming calls while he is in China? He does not need data.

![]() he can buy a chinese SIM at many small vendors on the roadside who also sell snacks and newspapers. the sim cards are very cheap and already active, just pop them in your phone and off you go.
China Unicom and China Mobile are equal if you dont need data. Thailand: truemove (phone+sms+wifi) International: xxSim+372, toggle +44/+49/+41/+31 Phones: Huawei Mate7, Huawei P9 |

![]() If you also want internet china unicam is best option. With $11 you can get basic plan for text, calls and 300MB of 3G data.

![]() or my asian iphone6 or 6 plus can support china mobile 4G lte too..
in term of coverage, china mobile is the best, but because of the band, not many people can use it |
