![]() My wife will be travelling to Germany for 6 days and then driving to Belgium and staying for 2 days.
After reading through all 12pgs of the Best practice international GSM setup thread and some other research I have come to the conclusion that onesimcard might be her best option. I need to keep things as simple as possible for her. She can send sms and update Facebook like a champ but when it comes to this stuff, not so much. Pros: - Only need one card for both countries - Free USA number (the children and I can call her for free) - Free incoming calls and SMS - sms outgoing $.49/msg (if I activate discount plan for $.99 per msg drops to $.15) - Week long data package (won't need anything more because most of her time will be spent at work or hotel, both of which have wifi) - Have sim card in hand before leaving - outgoing voice $.49/min, incoming free (if I activate discount plan for $3.99 per minute drops to $.29) My other thought was the Keepgo (formerly iphonetrip.com) Pros: - Only one card for both countries - Free USA number - Free sim - Have sim card in hand before leaving - Only $8 shipping to my US address - incoming/outgoing voice only $.11-.12/min - sms $.20/msg outgoing, incoming free |
