![]() Last week I went on a trip to Gibraltar, Spain, France and Italy and got to play a bit with Piranha, Telna and Mobal as well as my home carrier Sprint (have a world phone from them).
Sprint and Mobal worked everywhere. Only had some issues with Piranha and Telna. Piranha and Telna worked great in Spain, Gibraltar and Rome. Could not register on any network in France, Florence and Pisa (both Piranha and Telna). Not quite sure what the issue was as when I got to Rome, the Piranha SIM registered right up to TIM... It would not do that in Florence or Pisa... I did not try the Telna SIM while in Rome... I'm trying to pull down the call activity that I did have with Piranha, but their website seems to be having issues with getting my SIM data at the moment... As it has been said on other posts, 'Always take a spare SIM'... |

![]() I think Telna and Piranha share too much infrastructure to be reliable backups for one another.
