![]() Purchased a new phone and Travelsim card for trip from Australia to NewZealand and return. Could receive and send SMS, mobile and landline calls to and from Australia.
Couldnt receive phone calls from NZ phones while in NZ. Travelsim (australia) claims Provider problem at the New Zealand end, nothing they can do about it. Have to take it up with NZ Providers. What use is that when there are, I think, 3 different phone companies in NZ that my phone detects. Only way NZ callers can reach me was to route them through a New South Wales number which Travelsim provided, which, while it did work when tested, adds another 35 cents (US) PER MINUTE to the call. Be interested to hear from anyone else with the same problem or a solution as I shall be making another trip shortly. |
