![]() Bottom line - I have both UM numbers Liech & UK both need to be re-charged. I am waiting to see if any alternate deals come up before I do so. (I am worried about UM stability that will not stay around & I will lose my $ balance).
My office in USA will be calling me while I travel around Europe. I figure it is cheaper for them to call me than me to call them. They can call my UK cell for 20c min if I shop around. 25c w/ATT calling card. Do you have any other suggestions? |

![]() I have an easyroam card works fine, free incoming. There are af few other ones but with many you have to look at the small print as some of them have minimum usage fee per month, others have a ratio between inbound and outbound, so receiving to many calls and making just a few, means you will be disconnected.
As these terms are hidden in the small print read them carefully before buying a sim. |

![]() I share your concerns about recharging either. However, suggest you consider the initial cost of the SIM and compare it to a new purchase.
If you are going to mulitple countries, you will want an international card. If you will be in one country predominantly, you might consider a SIM for that country. ![]() After reading the new reply in the above post it seems United Mobile might be coming through with new plans. I will just wait and see what it offered.

20 cents for incoming is a great price. Even my grandfathered U.S. T-Mobile plan chaarges 30 cents. ...mike A/o Oct 20, 2013 no need for intl prepaid as T-Mobile U.S. includes voice roaming at 20¢/min (in and out)., unlimited text (in and out), and unlimited data in 140+ countries. My Plan -[6 lines] U.S. T-Mobile unlimited minutes (incoming and outgoing), unlimited text, fast data on each line. that $145/mo. total! . (In U.S. no surcharge for calling a cell.) If a line exceeds 2G of data in a month, pay $10 more for that line. [That only happens a couple times/year. |

![]() Hi 9eor9 (George?

![]() Hi, yes it means Georg(e), in another forum georg was already used....
At present I use SparRuf – mit dem Handy billig ins Ausland telefonieren There are some call-by-call numbers around 17ct/min which I never used. Sparruf works reliable (19ct/min), it can also be used for callback with the airBalticcard. You can also use your Sparruf landline number to forward your calls. Callers pay german landline (free with flatrate) and you pay 19ct/ min which is even cheaper than normal 26ct/min for incoming roaming calls abroad. Normally I use DialNow | Cheap International Calls but the airBalticcard cannot be reached normally, but once it worked! |
