![]() Hi, thank you for this website, it has been very helpful in my research. I am arriving in Italy for 2 weeks next Sunday and will be arriving via Bologna (Marconi Airport). Although Wind seems to be the best deal, Bologna Airport only has a Vodafone store. A few questions: What Vodafone plan is best for USA calling? Can the store activate this feature? Will the Vodafone store be open on Sunday morning? How do I activate the "Internet 100 Ore GPRS" option once I have the SIM card? Can the store activate this option for me? Finally, how are the 100 hours billed? In one minute increments or otherwise?
Thank you in advance for your help. |

![]() The hours are billed in 15 mins increments, which doesn't make the offer so convenient... BTW I'm sure at the shop they can activate all for you, hoping it will be open on Sunday morning (something I'm really not sure about).
Talking about the plan, I suggest you the Vodafone One Nation New, take a look here: http://www.areaprivati.190.it/190/tr....pdf&tk=9607,c Deceased Prepaids: CZ: Oskar, Eurotel; SK: Orange; DE: E-Plus, Aldi, Simyo; GE: Geocell; AM: Armentel; PL: Heyah, Plus; LT: Tele2; LV: Amigo; EE: Elisa; UA: Kyivstar; NZ: Vodafone; INT: UM, UM+, ICQSim. GSM/3G Phones: Nokia Lumia 630 dual sim |

Hi Effendi... I'm going to be two weeks in Italy and thanks to your reference although I can't find any info on the vodafone.it English web site.... Being able to call back to the USA is my prime need...what's not clear in that location is whether the calls have to be to eu countries or anywhere..also whether that [plan is available on PAYG Any other location with info on that plan would be appreciated. |

Thanks for the info but I don't think the US is included in the One Nation country list?: http://www.areaprivati.190.it/190/tr...y_skip_md=true |

![]() Oh yes, sorry, you are totally right, I just gave a quick look and I didn't read well... So Vodafone is surely NOT a good solution for cheap calls to the US, better Wind with the "call your country" option or 3, if you have a 3G phone.
