![]() Going to these three cities in a month with my unlocked iPhone. I'd appreciate any tips on how to go about getting prepaid SIMs. All that matters to me is data, I probably won't make a single phone call. In Spain I made it by with only 100MB per day but that was a bit tough to do. I'll only be in each city for about 4 days. Thanks for any help!

![]() A few years ago I had a Green prepaid in Singapore. I don't recall the data plan but I do recall the process of buying it. I went to a 7-11 store asked for a Green SIM. The guy took my passport and scanned in the photo page on a little scanner. After a few minutes everything was OK, I had my SIM and was on the way. In Singapore you paid for incoming calls but it wasn't much, for a small daily fee I got unlimited incoming. This made calls from the US to my mobile in Singapore something like US$0.02/min.

![]() In Bangkok you can buy SIM cards of all networks in the arrivals hall on the airport right after baggage claim and customs.
I would recommend truemove, they offer nice data packages ontop of the "InterSIM" which lets you call abroad for 2ct/min Chris Thailand: truemove (phone+sms+wifi) International: xxSim+372, toggle +44/+49/+41/+31 Phones: Huawei Mate7, Huawei P9 |
