Generic Android Phone Recs?

Hi, I am toying with buying a "generic" android from a Hong Kong seller and was wondering if anyone has any experience/recommendations for models?

Ideally it would have Android 4.0 on it.

I was looking at this one and thought it looked interesting.

this one has the older MTK6573 CPU inside. I would recommend the new MTK6575 CPU which is conciderably faster. Pricing is in the same range for many phones on the new platform.
